Susan Jane Steen, M.D. - Private Practice Neurologist
Dr. Steen received her Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude from Florida State
University, Tallahassee, FL 1974. She went on to receiver her Doctor of Medicine from
the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL in 1978.
She performed her Resident, Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida, Tampa,
FL and their affiliated Hospitals. Her Residency of Neurology was at the University of
Florida, Gainseville, FL.
Dr. Steen received many Honors and Awards:
1978 - Outstanding Senior Medical Student in Neurology
1993 - Epilepsy Foundation "The Barbara McNerney Award for Outstanding Services"
2000 - American Headache Society (AHS)
Dr. Steen is National Board Certified in Psychiatry & Neurology since 1991, National
Board Certified in Medicine & Surgery 1979, as well as, a member of the AMA and the
American Society of Neurology and numerous others. She is also a Certified Expert
Medical Advisor, Orientation & CEUs, Bureau of Rehabilitation & Medical Services
(Division of Workman's' Compensation) 2/98 She works with Multiple Sclerosis and is
sought after as a lecturer.
