Angela M. McBride, PhD - Neuropsychologist

Dr. McBride received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University and
presently is a Neuropsychologist with Morton Plant Hospital's  Memory Disorders Clinic in
Clearwater, Florida,  as well as, being an Independent Practitioner in Tampa, Florida.  She
performed her Postdoctoral Residency in Clinical Psychology at James A. Haley Veterans
Hospital, Tampa, Florida  and her Internship in Neuropsychology Specialization was at the
Medical University of South Carolina / Department of Veterans Affairs, Charleston, SC.

Dr. McBride is a Member of:

  • APA Division 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology)
  • APA Division 12, Section 2 (Clinical Geropsychology)
  • Association for Gerontology in Higher Education
  • National Academy of Neuropsychology

Dr. McBride was an Instructor and the University of South Florida Memory Disorders Clinic in
2003-2004 and then became an Assistant Professor until June 2005.  She also held positions
as Neuropsychological Assessment Coordinator, Learning Disabilities Assessment
Coordinator and Clinic Trainee all with Michigan State University.

Dr. McBride is currently working in research as Sub-Investigator/Neuropsychologist as part of
a $5 million dollar multi-site National Institute of Health grand for Florida Alzheimer's Disease
Research Center, Johnnie B. Byrd, Sr. Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute, Tampa, FL.
